Shelbyville High School’s boys basketball program will conduct a summer youth basketball camp June 3-5.
The camp is for incoming first- through eighth graders and will be conducted by the Golden Bears coaching staff.
Cost of the camp is $30 and includes a camp T-shirt. Payment may be made by cash or check made out to the Golden Bear Booster Club.
Incoming first- through fourth graders meet from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. June 3-5 at the Shelbyville High School auxiliary gymnasium.
All fifth- through eighth graders will follow from 1:45 to 3 p.m.
The camp will include small group periods that focus on fundamental skills like shooting, passing, ball-handling, defense and rebounding. There also will be 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmages as well as skills competitions.
