Prep Report: Fischer's return leads to Waldron season-opening win

Grace Fischer wasted little time getting back to action Saturday in the season opener for Waldron girls basketball.

Fischer added eight more points in the second quarter to help the Mohawks build a 37-13 advantage in the first game for new head coach Doug Laker.

Brooklyn Milbourn also reached double digits with 11 points and Jackie Corlett finished with seven.

Tori Smith-Brooks led the Saints (1-1) with nine points. Hope King finished with six.
