After a successful high school career that saw him establish himself as one of the top linemen in West Central Indiana, North Putnam's Braxton Woodall is ready to take his talents to the college ranks.
Woodall has found a home at Marian University, recently announcing his commitment to the NAIA powerhouse.
"As soon as I took my first game day visit to Marian, it just felt right. I was extremely fortunate to have some amazing schools and programs give me an opportunity, but from the start, Marian felt like home. The entire coaching staff solidified that when I took my official visit. Offensive line coach Coach Smith is awesome, and I could definitely see myself working under him for the next four years," Woodall told The Putnam County Post.
Recently, Woodall had seen his recruitment take off, as he garnered offers from the University of Indianapolis, Indiana Wesleyan, Franklin, DePauw and Hanover over the last month.
"I am really excited. It has been a wild ride recruitment wise. It feels good to finally be able to sit back and enjoy that I found my new home. I also know my parents are happy they don't have to be driving around the state every weekend now," Woodall said.
Woodall was selected to the IFCA Region 6 All-Star Team, in addition to being named First Team Putnam County and First Team Wabash Valley.
