Poor shooting and numerous turnovers were the downfall for the Lawrenceville basketball Indians Tuesday night.
The Tribe had their modest 2 game winning streak broken by Dieterich 54-42 at Dieterich.
The hosts jumped on top early and led 11-6 after 1 quarter, 21-15 at the half and 38-25 after 3 quarters enroute to the victory.
The Indians were led by Noah Wilson with 14 points.
The JV also lost 37-32 paced by Aiden Winningham with 15 points.
The squad is now 8-3 and return to Little Illini Conference play Friday at Marshall.
