The Edwards County Lady Lions used strong pitching and an opportunistic offense to shut out the Lawrenceville Lady Indians 10-0 in 5 innings Tuesday at Phil Alsman Field in Lawrenceville.
The visitors scored 10 runs on 12 hits and made no errors while the hosts scored no runs on 4 hits and committed 3 errors.
The loss was the second in a row for the Lady Indians, who fall to 1-3 on the season. They return to action Wednesday on the road at Oblong and finish up the week Thursday at Flora.
