Indiana University Kokomo’s men’s basketball team went 2-0 at the Dunn Hospitality Group Classic to improve to 9-4 this season.
On Sunday in Oakland City, Indiana, IU Kokomo defeated Cumberland University (Tennessee), 90-88, to secure the program’s third straight victory.
Drake Moore (photo, left), a Morristown graduate, had six points, one rebound and three assists for the Cougars.
IU Kokomo extended its win streak to four straight Monday with a 73-63 win over Concordia University (Michigan). Moore was credited with one assist in 18 minutes of playing time.

Kyle Crim
Hanover College’s men’s basketball program suffered a pair of losses at the Otterbein Classic in Westerville, Ohio.
On Sunday, Denison defeated Hanover, 82-70. Crim, a Morristown graduate, had one rebound for the Panthers in the loss.
Crim was in the starting lineup Monday in Hanover’s 84-69 loss to Otterbein. He finished with three points and two rebounds.
Hanover is 6-5 this season.

Olivia Faust
The Triton Central graduate had seven points, one assist and one steal Monday in No. 15-ranked Marian’s 80-48 victory over Concordia University (Michigan).
The Knights improved to 11-3.

Rylie Stephens
The Triton Central graduate was selected the Gulf South Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 16-22. She averaged 17 points and 13.5 rebounds in a pair of victories for West Florida.
Stephens had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Argos in a 71-57 win over Lee.
She followed that with a 16-point, 17-rebound performance in a 94-55 win over Trevecca. It was her fourth double-double of the season and included a career best 14 defensive rebounds.
