The Lawrenceville baseball Indians dropped two weekend games.
Friday, they lost in a rescheduled Little Illini Conference (LIC) game to Mt Carmel 6-5 at Mt Carmel and then were edged 2-1 Saturday in a rescheduled non-conference game at Unit 20 Ballpark to Vincennes Rivet.
The Patriots scored 2 runs on only 3 hits with 1 error while the Tribe scored only 1 run on 4 hits and made 3 errors.
Emery Ivers had three of the four Indian hits and drove in the only run.
Garrett Moorehead went 6 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs 9 strikeouts and 2 walks to take the loss.
Lawrenceville is now 8-8 heading into a road conference game Monday at Robinson.
