Weston Owen Good, 38, of Kewanna

Weston Owen Good, 38, of Kewanna, walked the valley of the shadows Saturday, April 4th, 2026.

Born August 4th, 1987, Weston, also known lovingly as “Uncle Ha” by family, was radiant, full of love and a lighthearted jokester. He was kind, possessed a gentle heart, and a winsome, playful smile. Weston was a man of style, very GQ, remembered for his impeccable appearance including gelled hair, button up shirt, leather jacket, fancy shoes, and fondness of aviator sunglasses. Helping was second nature to him. He would give the shirt off his back and the last dollar from his wallet if he thought it would better someone’s day or life.

A 2006 graduate of Culver Community High School Weston was a stellar athlete playing first base for the Cavaliers and earning honors as a member of the All-Conference  baseball team. As a member of the Cavs band he performed as a drummer keeping the beat never missing a cadence. Weston initiated his collegian career at Manchester University then transferred to Purdue-Northwest earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

As an avid American sportsman Weston was a master in the realms of fishing and hunting. The outdoors was his domain, especially when the adventures included his family and friends. He was a wonderful cook and an expert with the smoker. He spoiled his family with his catches, mushrooms, and harvest from his hunts. Weston was at home on the water, in the woods, and with his family. His greatest love was that of his family and his two beautiful girls, Freya and Ripley.

Weston left us with many loved memories in such a short life. He will be deeply missed. May the heavenly streams be plentiful with big fish, the sky filled with birds and the forest peaceful with abundant wildlife. Living eternally, watching over us as we wait to walk his path and see his handsome face, smile and hear his laughter.

Left to cherish Weston’s memory are his parents Dean and Gwen Good; brother Wyatt A. Good; the mother of his children Caitlin Good; daughters Freya Jay Good and Ripley Ruth Good; niece Finley Good; nephew Ledger Good; former sister-in-law Courtney Good; chosen brother Josh Workman; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Weston was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Donald O. Good and Mary M. Good; Aunt Debbie Good; Maternal Grandparents Rolla Smith and Grace Smith; six uncles: Wilburn Smith, Robert Smith, James Smith, Howard Smith, Roger Smith, Roy Smith; and one aunt, Thelma Hensley.

Private family services will be held to celebrate Weston's life.  The Good Family Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Mr. Charlie F. Hasnerl will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Bruce Lake Conservancy District, 829 N 675 E Kewanna, IN 46939 or Culver Cavs Fishing Club, 701 School St. Culver, IN 46511.
