Terry Lee Owen was born on February 12,1944 in Sevierville, Tennessee to Charles Edward Owen and Helen June Parmer.

He was the third of four siblings which are Patricia Neece, Mike Owen and Peggy Pidcock. In 1956 Terry's dad remarried Izola LaHue and he gained three more siblings. Norma Conder, Howard Swaim, and Marilyn Brown. They are were raised in Rosedale, IN in a farmhouse, which remained in the family for several years. Terry had several nieces and nephews that were special to him.

Terry graduated from Garfield High School and joined the Navy in July of 1963. He was on the USS Boxer (LPH-4) Ship. At the age of 19, Terry married Diana Kay Secord, and her mother had to sign papers for her to get married at the age of 16. Terry and Diana had 2 children, Robert Lee Owen and Catherine Ann Owen (Krumreich). Catherine made Terry a grandfather at the age of 37 when she had Misty "MICHELLE" Williams (Bemis) and 20 years later Robert added a grandson with Robert Lee Owen II. Michelle (as Terry called her), gave him a great grandson, Braylon Gerald Reedy.

After Terry got out of the Service he join the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #157 where he worked until he retired at the age of 59 1/2. He lived a long comfortable retirement life.

Although him and Diana did not remain married, they remained GREAT friends for the kids and grandkids. He never missed a support payment or a weekend visit! Terry went on to remarry a "few" more times but the step-mother that meant the most was Momma Kay. Robert and Catherine gained two step-siblings, Lori and Robin. They still remain acting in the family till this day!

Terry was the most organized man you could ever meet. Everything had it's place! He loved good ole Country and Western and Gospel Music. Not religious per se but he believed and found a closeness in music. Hank Williams Sr., Elvis, George Jones, and Johnny Cash are just a few of his favorites. Terry would learn the cords to his favorite songs and just sing and play his guitar.

Terry was a traveling man and always took road trips to see his mother and would take the kids to theme parks, Florida, and visiting his siblings and their families. Terry loved his family and their family gatherings.

Terry spent several years camping at Kentucky Lake where he loved to fish. He had a fishing boat where he spent the most of his time! The fishing poles and tackle he had....were enough for several men.

Terry had several dogs and cats through his years, but had a beloved Bootsie that was tragically ran over at the lake. Bootsie will be in Terry's final resting place with him.

Terry was a contrary man and some relationships where hard, but not his relationship with Misty "MICHELLE". She was the apple of his eye. Terry took "Michelle" to Florida where she found her love for the beach and Mickey Mouse. Terry always hid her Squeeze It's behind the A in at.

Terry is proceeded in death by several of our people and is leaving several loved ones behind. Terry will be greatly missed by his family, but is now in God's hands.
