Steven M. Karns, age 65, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.
Steven M. Karns, age 65, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. He was born August 27, 1960, in Taipei, Taiwan, the son of Michael E. Karns and Catherine Louise Snider Karns.
Steven worked as a laborer at the Clay County Rehabilitation Center in Flora, Illinois. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, motorcycles, fishing, and camping. He was a loyal Minnesota Vikings fan.
Preceding Steven in death was his mother.
Survivors include his father, Michael; spouse, Gayla; siblings, Brian (Gloria) Karns of St. Cloud, Florida, Kelly (Shannon) Blain of Kathleen, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sumner Cemetery.
