Rogelio Rafael Diaz Gomez, 38, of Greencastle, tragically passed away in an auto accident on Monday, December 8, 2025, in Crawfordsville.
Born January 14, 1987, in Agua dulce, Zaualpan, Mexico the son of Gerardo Diaz and Anita Gomez.
Rogelio had managed Anthony’s Pizza at Heritage Lake for several years.
He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his Father and brother Omero Diaz-Gomez.
Rogelio is survived by his wife Lizbeth Figueroa Avila: children Gerardo Diaz-Figueroa, Rodolfo Diaz-Figueroa, Sebastian Diaz-Figueroa, Rodrigo Diaz-Figueroa, and Camila Diaz-Figueroa (due in January); mother Anita Gomez; siblings Luis Hector Diaz-Gomez, Cristina Diaz-Gomez, Ana Karen Diaz-Gomez, and Tanina Martinez-Gomez; and several nieces and nephew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
