Raymond Eugene Brady, age 76 of Flat Rock, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in Evansville, IN at St. Vincent Ascension Hospital.
Raymond Eugene Brady, age 76 of Flat Rock, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in Evansville, IN at St. Vincent Ascension Hospital. He was born in Vincennes, IN on March 22, 1950, to Ivan and Pearl (Twitty) Brady.
He was fortunate to find loving partners in his life. He was preceded by two wives, Jacqueline (Murphy) Brady and Marilyn (Pond) Brady, and survived by his girlfriend of many years, Beverly Stuessel.
Raymond worked for Whirlpool for 35 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose and Eagles of Vincennes, and the VFW of Lawrenceville. He loved to go scrapping and junking, gamble, and play euchre and bingo. Raymond was a jokester and loved making people laugh.
Those left to carry on his legacy of love and laughter are: his three sons- Daryel Brady and his wife Susan of Olney, Brandon Brady and his wife Kristia of Flat Rock, Dustin Brady and his wife Kelly of Lawrenceville; three daughters- Lana Foreman of Vincennes, IN, Melanie Noel and husband Michael of Oregon, and Nicole Jackson and husband Jerry of Hopkinsville, KY; grandson- Levi Brady and wife Kate of Flat Rock; and 21 other grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and girlfriend- Beverly Stuessel of Mt. Carmel.
He was preceded in death by: his parents- Ivan and Pearl Brady; first wife- Jacqueline (Murphy) Brady; second wife- Marilyn (Pond) Brady; one sister- Mary Mowrer, and several Aunts and Uncles.
There are no formal services for Raymond at the time. Cunningham-Young Funeral Home of Lawrenceville is in charge of arrangements.
