Mary Ann Rowings Monnett, 86, of Cloverdale, passed away on Friday April 18th, 2025 at her home.
Mary Ann was born on February 9th, 1939 in Terre Haute, IN to Donald G. and Blanche (Eberwein) Reel.
Mary Ann was the owner and proprietor of Mary Ann Ceramics for over 20 years. She also received her Real Estate license in 1994 and worked as a realtor for several years. She was a graduate of Reelsville High School in 1957 and went on to attend ISU. She was a long time member of Reelsville Methodist Church.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughters Beth Anne Rogers-Miller (Mo), Lisa Sims (David), Maggie Hodge (Archie), and Jeanne Sibbitt (Craig); grandchildren James David “J.D” Sims (Sarah), John Sims (Kate), Collette Rogers, Shelby Hodge-Lindsay (Dylan), and Matthew Rogers; several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Robert Monnett; parents; a grandson Jason Sims; brothers Robert Reel and Donald E. Reel; sisters Jeane Sage and Betty Evans.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 25th, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until time of service.
