Luella M. Steele, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025 at the age of 97.
Born in Reelsville, IN on October 6th, 1927 to Dennis and Irene Diel, Luella was a stay at home mother who generously gave her support to her family and community. She was a member of the Groveland Presbyterian Church and Bainbridge United Methodist Church, a 75-year member of Eastern Star and a member of the Groveland Women's Community Club.
Luella was preceded in death by husband Marvin (1994) and twins Ronald and Randle. (8 mos, 1948)
Luella is survived by 4 children, Larry Steele, Norman Steele (Christal), Karen Brown (Pat), and Janet Allee, 10 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Bousley Funeral Home (4980 Milton St, Coatesville, IN 46121) on Tuesday, January 21st from 12:00 - 2:00 with services following immediately at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at New Winchester Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
