Linda Sampson, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Greencastle, Indiana on August 23, 1943 to the late Ralph and Theda (Rogers) Alspaugh. Linda graduated from Greencastle High School in 1962 and went on to marry Teddy Joe Sampson, Sr. on May 11, 1963. She worked as a teller for First Federal Savings and Loan, as well as volunteering as the secretary at the Eagles Lodge.
Linda loved spending time with family especially the grandkids, painting ceramics, square dancing and being outdoors. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Alspaugh.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ted Sampson, Sr.; her sons, Ted (Sonya) Sampson, Jr., Mark (Teresa) Sampson, and Mike (Lisa) Sampson; grandchildren, Chelsey (Joe) Burk, Jason (Ashlyn) Sampson, Megan (Brandon Bowman) Garrison, Tyler Sampson, Logan Sampson, Brooke Sampson, Gavin Morgan, Cameron (Jeff) Wheeler, Tierra (Clint) Stone, Whitney (Ricky) Sampson, Justin (Jasmine) Sampson, Kruz (Chloe) Sampson, Ashton (Camilo) Clark, and Laken (Matt) Wood; as well as 27 great-grandchildren.
Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Linda’s cremation arrangements.
