Leia- Royce E. Hensley, age 24 of Lawrenceville, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, February 26, 2023. She was born January 16, 1998, in Robinson to Bree Hensley. Leia-Royce was a self-motivated young lady. That could be seen by her ability to be self-taught to speak Japanese. It was a goal of hers to travel to Japan, so she decided to learn the language. She had been a DoorDash provider previously in Evansville and more recently in the Lawrence County area. Surviving family includes: her mother- Bree Hensley of Sumner: Jamie Daigle (whom she admired as her father) and his wife Crystal of Crowley, LA: two brothers- Zhachory Daigle and Nicholas Griffin: grandparents- Kenneth Hensley and wife Stephanie of Palestine and Jessie York of Louisiana: and great-grandmother- Julia Shipman of Lawrenceville. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
