Tobe had a profound love for sports, particularly baseball. He played a pivotal role in the development of the Clay Youth League (CYL), dedicating himself to teaching the game to young players. Over the years, he served as a coach, umpire, and groundskeeper, and held the titles of lifetime director and Hall of Fame member within the CYL. In his younger years, Tobe was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with his family. Known for his friendly demeanor, he never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
