Larry E. Stewart, 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Greenwood Healthcare.
Born May 23, 1947 in Greenfield, Tennessee, he was the son of Eack Stewart and Sally (Reeves) Stewart.
He married Bonnie (Marshall) Stewart and she preceded him in death. Survivors include a son Tim Stewart (Nicole) of Beech Grove; a sister Janice DeHo (Dick) of Shelbyville; 5 grandchildren- Tim Stewart Jr., Anthony Stewart, Sidney Stewart, Kailey Stewart, and Jaden Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, 2 sisters- Geraldine Miller and Irene Stanley.
Mr. Stewart lived most of his lifetime in this area, after moving from Tennessee. He worked at Knauf Fiber Glass, where he retired after 35 years of service.
He was a US Army veteran.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Blue Ridge Cemetery.
