Cheryl Ann (Hensley) Pennington, 68, of Plymouth, Indiana passed away at 4:29 a.m. on October 3, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Cheryl was born on May 1, 1958, in Ary, Kentucky, to Maudie (Patrick) Hensley and Willard Hensley. She was the youngest of ten children.

On August 22, 1976, Cheryl married Bradley Pennington of Culver, Indiana. Together, they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage—a remarkable milestone that reflected their enduring love and devotion to one another.

Cheryl was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was at the center of her life, and she always went above and beyond to make them feel loved and cared for. She made every holiday special, creating traditions and memories that her family will forever cherish. Her grandchildren fondly remember the fall parties she planned and the games she organized during family camping trips.

As the youngest daughter, Cheryl shared a special bond with her siblings. Her four older brothers and four sisters will deeply miss her love, laughter, and the many memories they shared throughout the years.

Cheryl was also blessed with many cherished friends and traveling companions. She enjoyed spending time with them, whether they were traveling together, catching up on one another’s lives, or going on craft-shopping trips. These friendships brought Cheryl great happiness and created many special memories that her friends will carry with them.

Cheryl was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ. She became a member during her teenage years and remained steadfast in her faith in Christ throughout her life. In her earlier years, she enjoyed singing with the Church of Jesus Christ singers and later served as part of the worship team. Her faith guided the way she lived, loved, and cared for others.

Early in her career, Cheryl worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Thomas Pugh in Culver, Indiana. She later pursued a career in nursing and worked for many years at Catherine Kasper. As a nurse, Cheryl was known for her compassion, dedication, and genuine concern for her patients. Her commitment to caring for others left a lasting impression on the many people whose lives she touched.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bradley Pennington; her children, Lindsey (Willie) Richardson of Jacksonville, Florida, Leslie (Michael) Allen of Argos, Indiana, and Austin (Cassadi) Pennington of Argos, Indiana; her grandchildren, Harrison (Romeria) Long of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Gabriella (Dominic) Lopez of Bremen, Indiana, Etan (Kiley) Long of Yuma, Arizona, Devon Allen of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Aryanna Allen of Argos, Indiana; three precious great-grandchildren; four older brothers; four sisters; and many beloved extended family members and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Maudie and Willard Hensley; her brother, Paul Hensley; and her granddaughter, Kali Lynn Pennington.

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday October 7, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 15676 Michigan Rd., Argos, Indiana.

Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ with Rev. James Snyder. Burial will conclude at Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, Indiana.

Cheryl will be deeply missed, but the love she gave, the memories she created, and the example of faith and compassion she shared will remain in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
