Chaelan Reid Fox, age 22, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 16, 2003, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Lynn Fox.
Chaelan lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and a deep love for the people and things that brought him joy. He enjoyed playing baseball and was an enthusiastic Green Bay Packers fan. He loved good food, watching the Food Network, and spending time with his friends. Above all, Chaelan cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Otis.
Preceding Chaelan in death were his maternal grandparents, Barry and Penny Carter Fox; brother, Kyle K. Fox and uncle, Rick Fox.
Survivors include: his mother; brother, William Fox; significant other, Annastyn Weger; aunts, Susie Seed (Bruce Primus), Peggy (Dwayne) Volkman, Angie (Dwayne) Clark, Jodi (Brett) Steber; sister-in-law, Erin Reed.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
