Austin Perdue, beloved father, brother, son, nephew, and friend, passed away on October 18 at the age of 26.
Born on August 14, 1999, in Indianapolis, Austin was the son of Jeremiah Perdue (Cheryl) and April Garske (Michael). He grew up in the small town of Cloverdale, IN. Austin was known for his kindness, humor, and big hugs.
Above all, Austin loved his children and family deeply. He is survived by his parents, Jeremiah Perdue (Cheryl) and April Garske (Michael); his partner, Victoria Breeden; his two children, Connor and Everleigh; his sisters, Kayla, Karma, and Summer; his stepbrother, Garret; and his grandparents, Gail Davis, Kevin and Jennifer Davis, Cheryl and Gary Long, Andree and Lisa Perdue, and Richard and Diane Garske.
Austin had a heart as big as his smile. He never said hello or goodbye without a hug, and those who knew him will never forget the warmth and kindness he shared so freely.
He loved the simple joys in life — casting a line while fishing, the thrill of going fast, and enjoying good food, especially anything spicy or seafood. Austin lived life with passion and authenticity, always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or give one of his signature hugs.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched. Though his time here was far too short, Austin’s love, laughter, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, at Soul Harvest Church in Cloverdale.
Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m., with services at 1:00 p.m.
Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring the man who made every moment brighter just by being there.
