The Indiana Department of Transportation plans for lane and ramp restrictions on I-74 for signage foundation work starting this weekend.
Beginning Friday at 9 p.m. crews will restrict I-74 westbound to a single lane between Post Rd. and I-465 to move the barrier wall. This work will be complete by Saturday, November 16, at 9 a.m., weather permitting.
Beginning Saturday, at 9 a.m. the I-74 westbound to I-465 northbound and southbound ramps will be closed for restriping pavement. These ramps will be reopened on Saturday, November 16, at noon, weather permitting.
The I-74 westbound to I-465, Southeastern Ave. to I-465 northbound and I-465 northbound to Shadeland Ave. ramps will reopen on Saturday, November 16, at noon, weather permitting.
These restrictions will allow crews to safely complete foundation pours for signage on I-74.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
