A motorist was arrested for reckless driving Saturday night just 30 minutes after receiving a speeding citation, Plymouth Police reported.
Officer Mark observed a Ford pickup truck performing a burnout in the center lane of North Street at approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 27th.
The officer conducted a traffic stop on the pickup in the area of North and Plum Streets. A second Plymouth officer who arrived on scene informed Officer Mark that the same driver had been issued a citation for excessive speed on U.S. 30 just 30 minutes earlier at 10:00 p.m.
The driver, Gavin Brink, 19, of Walkerton, was taken into custody without incident and transported to Marshall County Jail.
Brink was booked on a charge of reckless driving. He was assigned a court date in Marshall County Superior Court II and issued a cash bond of $100. His bond was posted 90 minutes later, and he was released on bond.
