Vincennes University has announced it will host a ceremonial groundbreaking for the new 72,000 square foot Center for Health Services and Active Learning early next week. The $33.9 million two story facility will be built on the site of the former Harrison Hall on Indianapolis Avenue. The ceremony is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET Monday February 19th at that location. Among those speaking will be VU President Dr. Chuck Johnson, VU Board Chairman Mike Sievers, Good Samaritan Hospital CEO Rob McLin, and VU Director of Architectural Services and Facilities Andrew Young. The new center will be the new home for Nursing, Health Information, Surgical Technology, Pharmacy, Funeral Service and Physical Therapy programs. The public is invited to attend.
