Vermillion County, In. – Thirteen Challenges were filed with the Vermillion County Clerk on candidates in the upcoming primary. On Wednesday the Election Board made their final decision on the challenges. Of the 13 challenges the election board only denied 4. The reason for the challenges was because certain candidates did not meet the requirement for Indiana's Two-Primary Law for partisan elections. This means those candidates who want to run for either political party must have voted in that party's primary in the last two elections. Candidates who were denied a spot on the ballot can take action at a higher level if they're unhappy with the results.
