Tax Day is right around the corner. Before you file, I want to make sure you know exactly what the Working Families Tax Cuts mean for you, your family, and your wallet.
This is one of the biggest tax refund seasons in years, and hardworking Hoosiers are seeing it. More money coming back. Bigger checks. Real relief. And it doesn't stop there.
Overtime and tips? Tax-free. Raising kids? You're getting more back. Senior? There's a bonus deduction with your name on it. Hardworking families are also looking at a meaningful tax cut that shows up in every paycheck all year long.
House Republicans fought for this relief, and it is already showing up in refunds and paychecks across Indiana's Second District.
Here's a breakdown of what you may be eligible for:
- No tax on overtime
- No tax on tips
- No tax on auto loan interest
- $2,200 Child Tax Credit
- Expanded Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit
- 199A Deduction
- $6,000 bonus deduction for seniors
- Trump Accounts, including $1,000 for newborns
I voted for this because I believe the hardworking people of Indiana deserve to keep more of what they earn and I’ll continue supporting commonsense policies that restore trust, accountability, and transparency.
