The Madison County Sheriff's Office and other agencies are investigating a report of a citizen observing two large exotic cats in southern Madison County near the Hancock County line.
The cats are believed to be a lion and a cub. Anyone who makes a sighting can call either the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department or the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
As of this report, no missing animals from any animal sanctuaries have been reported.
