The co-directors of the Lawrence County Senior Citizens say that both the Lawrenceville and St. Francisville centers will be re-opening for regular hours on Tuesdays starting in May.

Both Yvette Coomes and Yvonne DeKnikker made the announcement in a statement released this week. Both locations were closed on Tuesdays starting several months ago due to financial concerns.

They will no longer be delivering frozen home-delivered meals on Monday but will be delivering hot meals on Tuesdays. Bridgeport and Sumner home-delivery routes will also get hot meals on Tuesdays instead of a frozen meal on Monday.

Lawrence County seniors are invited to stop by the centers for lunches Monday through Friday and find out about the schedule of daily activities at each location.
