Tippecanoe Valley High School has announced the appointment of Alexa Holland as its new athletic director.
Holland brings a wealth of experience in athletic administration, coaching, and corporate partnership development, along with a strong personal connection to the Tippecanoe Valley community.
Holland was a standout four-sport athlete at Rochester High School before continuing her athletic career at Ohio University, where she competed in Division I softball at the highest level, including the final round of the Tennessee Regional in the Women’s College World Series.
Holland earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and Business from Ohio University and went on to complete dual master’s degrees in Business Administration (MBA) and Sport Administration (MSA). Her professional journey includes serving as Senior Account Manager for the Ohio and Florida High School Athletic Associations, where she worked to build corporate partnerships and generate revenue for high school athletic programs.
Back in October, an investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's office and the Indiana State Board of Accounts is to be conducted involving the athletic director of Tippecanoe Valley High School.
Sam Sturtevant was placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.
