Timmons Jr. arrested for theft from Walmart

City police arrested a Plymouth man after Walmart security learned he had been stealing from the store over the past several days.

On Saturday, August 8^th, at about 1:30 in the afternoon, Plymouth Police were dispatched to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint.

Officer Krynock located Fred William Timmons Jr. of the 10,000 block of Lincoln Highway in Plymouth and confirmed that he had been in the store and removing merchandise without rendering payment during the past several days.

Timmons was lodged in the Marshall County Jail, given a court date of September 9, and a cash bond of $500. He was released 48 hours later with No Judicial Review.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
