The REES Theatre is inviting the community, especially its seasoned citizens, to step back in time for a special matinee screening of the classic film The Unsinkable Molly Brown on Wednesday, May 13th, at 2:00 p.m.
The beloved movie chronicles the inspiring story of Margaret "Molly" Brown. Rising from humble beginnings, Brown became a symbol of resilience and strength, most notably surviving the tragic sinking of the RMS Titanic. Her larger-than-life personality brings humor, heart, and unforgettable moments to the big screen.
Designed with comfort, nostalgia, and community in mind, the afternoon outing offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for guests to revisit or discover the timeless classic. The May movie event is made possible through the generous support of sponsor Miller's Merry Manor.
Attendees can enjoy the midweek escape for just $8, a package deal that includes admission to the film, fresh popcorn, and a refreshing drink.
