The REES Theatre invites community to discover their spotlight this fall

Whether you've always dreamed of stepping onto the stage or you're looking for a fun, creative activity for your child, this fall is the perfect time to experience the excitement of theatre at The REES Theatre.

The REES Theatre is welcoming Amy Beaucham and Dramatic Fanatics, who will bring two theatre opportunities this fall designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and create lasting friendships.

For adults who have ever wanted to try improv — or are simply looking for a new hobby where they can laugh, meet new people, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment — a free weekly improv class begins Sunday, September 13. Held Sundays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the class is open to adults of all experience levels and focuses on quick thinking, creativity, confidence, and, most importantly, having fun.

Young performers will explore the exciting world of theatre through acting, improvisation, puppetry, stage combat, oratory, and more during the Youth Theatre Course, running October 19 through December 7. Held Mondays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., the course helps students develop confidence, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills while making new friends and creating unforgettable memories.

The course concludes with a free showcase performance on Sunday, December 7, where family and friends are invited to celebrate everything the students have learned.
