The REES Theatre is proud to present a first-run movie premiere of “Triumph of the Heart” this Thursday at 7 p.m. and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sept. 12.
The film tells the powerful story of Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Franciscan friar who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War II. His extraordinary courage and faith led to his canonization as a saint by Pope John Paul II in 1982.
Audiences will experience a moving portrayal of Kolbe’s life, his devotion, and his enduring impact on generations of people around the world. Triumph of the Heart brings history to life on the big screen, combining both spiritual inspiration and cinematic storytelling.
“This is more than just a movie — it’s an opportunity for our community to come together and witness a story of sacrifice, love, and faith,” said Pat Popa, Managing Director of The REES Theatre. “We are honored to host this premiere and share such an important film.”
Tickets are available at REESTheatre.org or the ticket booth, which opens 30 minutes before the performance.
