A long-time Lawrence County tradition returns this week in downtown Lawrenceville, Illinois.

The 63rd edition of the annual Lawrence County Fall Festival gets underway Wednesday, September 16th on the courthouse square. The Fall Festival is sponsored and organized by the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and will run daily through Saturday, September 19th.

The event features food, games and entertainment for young and old alike. Swyear Amusements returns for a second year to provide the rides. This year, the Chamber has announced that the first 100 ride wristbands sold each day will be available for $20 at the festival ticket booths, thanks to festival sponsors. Discounted wristband purchases will be limited to four per person. The wristbands are valid only on the day of purchase to be used during the designated hours. Individual ride tickets will also be available.

Local talent will perform daily at the parking lot at the corner of 10th and State Street, and various types of food vendors will be set up around the square. For additional Fall Festival information, visit the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
