A St. Paul man died from his injuries after being struck by a semi Thursday.
Greensburg Fire and Decatur County EMS responded to State Road 3 and Freeland Road in Greensburg about 4 p.m. Thursday. Initial reports show Denver Jones, 69, was walking across the road when he was struck.
Jones was taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital then later flown to an Indianapolis hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the semi was a Rush County man. The driver remained at the scene and was said to have been fully cooperating with the investigation.
