The November unemployment rates for counties in southeastern Illinois have been released.
According to the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), Lawrence County had a jobless rate of 5.2%, one of the highest in the state.
Here are unemployment figures for other surrounding counties.

Richland--3.6%
Wabash---3.1%
Jasper-----3.8%
Edwards--3.9%
