Sen. Crider welcomes Shelbyville's Sellers, Triton Central's Coen to Statehouse as Senate pages

Shelbyville’s Kody Sellers (main photo) and Triton Central’s Farah Coen (photo below) recently served as Senate pages for State Senator Michael Crider (R-Greenfield).

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

“It’s always a pleasure to see so many students interested in what legislators do at the Statehouse,” said Crider (photo, with Coen) in a media release. “I’m always happy to take some time out of the day to speak with pages and answer any questions they have about my job as a state senator or state government.”

Students in grades 6-12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the legislative session.

Other area students that participated in the page program included: Cohen Burns, Chase Scott and Evan Teskey from Greenfield-Central High School, Harper Cosat and Brooke Norton from New Palestine Intermediate School, Adalynn Eakin and Makenna Musser from New Palestine High School, Kylee Crider of Fall Creek Intermediate School, Jameson Kinder and Lena May of Eastern Hancock Middle School, and Nieko Engleking of Eastern Hancock High School.

The 2026 Senate Page program has now ended.
