51st District Republican State Senator Chapin Rose has been selected to serve on the Rural Health Transformation Advisory Workgroup in the Illinois Legislature.
The workgroup is a statewide panel responsible for providing guidance and oversight in the implementation of the rural health program and to make sure that state resources are being used effectively to meet the needs of rural patients, medical providers and communities. The advisory workgroup will meet quarterly through 2032.
Rose's district, which includes Lawrence County and other surrounding counties in southern and central Illinois, is home to numerous rural healthcare providers and hospitals.
