A Rochester man was injured in a motorcycle-car crash.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department released details on a crash that happened Aug. 27, involving a motorcycle and a passenger car just before 5 p.m. A 2023 Yamaha motorcycle driven by 48-year-old Nathan Fritz of Rochester was traveling south on Olive Trail, approaching 12B Road, when he lost control of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle then collided with a 2015 Toyota Corolla that was traveling north on Olive Trail and driven by Douglas Rodriguez, 29, of Warsaw.
Fritz was flown from the scene by Lutheran Air to Memorial Hospital in South Bend to be treated for a leg injury. Rodriguez was not injured.
