The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure on State Road 340 in Clay County.
Beginning on or after Monday, July 21, crews will be replacing the bridge over Purdy Run on S.R. 340 between County Road 500 W. and County Road 550 W. Construction is anticipated to last until late September but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
The official detour around the closure follows S.R. 340 to U.S. 40 W. & S.R. 340 to U.S. 40 E.
