The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the Roachdale Police Department are actively seeking information on where Jerry L. Johnson, of Roachdale, may be located.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Johnson, age 52, is wanted on an active arrest warrant for multiple felony charges, including felony charges of child molestation.
Court records state earlier this year, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office received information from a mother stating her boyfriend had been touching her children in an inappropriate and sexual manner. Interviews were conducted with three victims, all under the age of 14.
The first victim told police Johnson masturbated in their presence, made the victim touch him sexually and other reported sex acts on the victim last October in Roachdale.
The second victim had a similar story, however, also stated instances happening at a park and in Ladoga. The third victim was exposed to pornography, had Johnson masturbate in front of them and Johnson forced the victim into various sex acts. There was also an incident that took place in Ladoga.
Police were able to get a search warrant for Johnson's cell phone and two child porn photos were found on the phone.
Johnson voluntarily completed a stipulated polygraph examination on Feb. 17, where the questions were specific to the incidents. The examiner concluded that Johnson was being deceptive in his denied responses, the probable cause states.
Johnson is wanted on a Level 3 felony count of child molestation, a Level 4 felony count of child molestation, a Level 6 felony charge of child pornography and a Level 6 felony of neglect of a dependent.
Johnson is described as a white male, standing 5-feet-10-inches and weighing approximately 165 pounds. If seen, law enforcement asks that you do not approach, but rather call 911 or 765-653-5115.
