A wanted man from neighboring Richland County has been captured.
Authorities had been on the lookout for Nathan Ellison for the past five days after he cut off his electronic ankle monitor and fled from the Richland County Sheriff's Department prior to his scheduled transfer to the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) on a sexual crime conviction.
Monday, both the Richland County Sheriff's Department and Olney Police responded to an Olney residence and captured Ellison there without incident.
His girlfriend, Olivia Pipher, also was arrested at the location and has been charged with Concealing or Aiding a Fugitive, a Class 4 Illinois felony.
Both were taken to the Richland County Detention Center.
Ellison will be transferred to the IDOC and faces an additional charge of Escape while Pipher was booked and released with a notice to appear in court.
