POET Bioprocessing – Cloverdale awards grants to four area causes

POET Bioprocessing – Cloverdale awarded 2026 Community Impact Grants to four local organizations this year that are planning projects to address recreation, housing, and education for area residents.

This year’s grants totaled $9,000.

"A big part of our mission at POET is to make the world a better place, and we believe that starts by being a good neighbor right here at home,” said Jeremy Jacobs, General Manager of POET Bioprocessing – Cloverdale. “We’re proud to be part of each of these projects to help our community thrive.”

This year’s grants were awarded to the following organizations.

Isaiah 117 House: $2,000 to create a dedicated teen area in their basement.

Fuller Center for Housing of Putnam County: $2,000 to promote safe and affordable housing in Putnam County, with rehabs and remodels on housing.

Cloverdale Elementary School: $2,000 to purchase books for Inchy's Bookworm Vending Machine, a literacy initiative that promotes reading through positive reinforcement.

Putnam County Dollars for Scholars - Farm to Fork: $3,000 to contribute to the overall success of the four-county school's chapters, which distribute upwards of $100,000 per year in scholarships for higher education.

The POET Community Impact Grant is a one-time grant, designed to support local nonprofits, schools, churches, earth-friendly groups, and individuals committed to leading projects that will benefit their communities.
