Plymouth Police report 4 arrests last week on charges ranging from suspended license to drunk driving

Officers with the Plymouth Police Department made four arrests over three days last week, with charges including driving with a suspended license, drug possession, and operating while intoxicated.

At 1 p.m., Officer Krynock stopped a vehicle driven by Vince Hill, 55, of Indianapolis, for a traffic infraction at U.S. 31 and 9A Road. Hill was found to have a previously suspended driver's license. Suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also located inside the vehicle. Hill was lodged in the Marshall County Jail, given a court date of June 16th, and issued a cash bond of $500.

At 8:53 a.m., Officer Krynock conducted another traffic stop at U.S. 31 and 9A Road, this time on a vehicle driven by Marion R. Alvarado, 33, of Indianapolis. Alvarado was also found to have a previously suspended driver's license and was lodged in the Marshall County Jail. He was given a court date of June 30th and a $500 cash bond.

Later that afternoon at 1:25 p.m., Patrolman Thornton stopped a vehicle with a suspended registered owner at U.S. 30 and Plymouth Goshen Trail. The driver was identified as Jeshenique Latreace Gunn, 30, of Fort Wayne. During the stop, the officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search produced suspected paraphernalia and THC. Gunn was booked into the Marshall County Jail and charged with driving while suspended with a prior conviction, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., Officer Schieber, working Operation Pull Over, responded after Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call reporting a possibly impaired driver in the area of 9A and Iris Road. A citizen caller followed the vehicle and reported that it was traveling on the wrong side of the road and nearly striking oncoming vehicles. Information from the caller led officers to locate the vehicle, and Officer Schieber conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near Richter Road. The driver, Austin Tessner, 33, of Plymouth, was determined to be intoxicated following a certified chemical test. Tessner was lodged in the Marshall County Jail and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated with endangerment.
