Plymouth Police made three Operating While Intoxicated arrests over the course of just three days this past weekend.

The first came early Saturday morning, just after 1 A.M., when Officer Allen stopped a vehicle in the Family Express parking lot on Jefferson Street after the driver was seen having trouble staying in her lane. 26-year-old Alysia Miller of Plymouth was found to be driving at double the legal alcohol limit and was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Less than 24 hours later, Sunday, July 26th, just before 8 P.M., Officer Schieber pulled over a vehicle for a moving violation at Fifth and Jefferson Streets. The driver, 53-year-old Jason Richard of Plymouth, showed signs of impairment and was arrested following a chemical test. He was also lodged at the Marshall County Jail.

The third arrest came early Monday morning, July 27th, just after midnight, when Officer Witkowski stopped a vehicle at West Garro and Plum Streets after it nearly struck a parked car. The driver, 59-year-old Michael Conn of Plymouth, was taken into custody and booked at the Marshall County Jail for O-W-I.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
