Corporal Schieber of the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Oakhill Avenue and Nutmeg Road after observing multiple moving violations at 2 a.m. on Saturday.
The vehicle's driver was identified as Angel Lingle, 20, from LaPorte.
During the officer's investigation, impairment was detected, leading to Lingle's arrest.
At 3:30 Saturday morning, Lingle was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) on a controlled substance and OVWI-endangerment. Her cash bond was posted at 10:23 a.m., and she was released on bond.
