Plymouth man arrested on suspended license charge following traffic stop on U.S. 31

A 22-year-old man was arrested early Tuesday morning after a traffic stop on U.S. 31 revealed his driver's license was suspended.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Deputy Ryan Hollopeter pulled over a vehicle near mile marker 228 on U.S. 31 at 1:57 a.m. on September 8 for a traffic violation. During the stop, probable cause was developed that the driver's license was suspended.

The driver, identified as Isaiah Jackson, 22, was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Jackson has been charged with driving while suspended prior, as a class A misdemeanor. His cash bond was set at $500.

The suspect is presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and is entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
