A 26-year-old Plymouth man was arrested late Wednesday night following a report of an adult male meeting up with a 14-year-old girl near a local underpass.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, Marshall County Central Dispatch received a complaint at 11:18 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6th, reporting a male meeting with a 14-year-old female in the area of North Michigan Street and the underpass at U.S. 30.
Plymouth Officer Allen responded to the scene and launched an investigation into 26-year-old Shane A. Wilson of First Street in Plymouth.
Wilson was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on multiple charges, including child seduction, inappropriate communication with a child, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and trafficking with an inmate.
He is currently being held at the Marshall County Jail on a $7,500 cash bond.
