Orti-Vera was arrested after a Plymouth officer observed him doing “Donuts” at the Centennial Park soccer fields.
On Monday, July 14th at about 1 a.m. Officer Witkowski observed a black sedan recklessly conducting "donuts" at the Centennial Park soccer fields. A traffic stop of the vehicle was conducted, and it was discovered that the driver, 23-year-old Jose Julian Ortiz Vera of Clark Street in Plymouth, was operating the vehicle without ever having obtained a valid driver's license.
Ortiz Vera was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He is being charged with reckless driving, criminal mischief, and operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license.
Ortiz Vera was issued a court date and given a $500 cash bond.
