Plymouth High School is searching for a new Athletic Director after Josh Troyer submitted his resignation, effective July 3rd.
Troyer joined Plymouth High School as Athletic Director in June 2023, serving just over three years in the role. During that time, he oversaw the school's athletic programs, working alongside student-athletes, coaches, and families to support PHS sports.
In a statement, school officials expressed gratitude for Troyer's commitment to the program. "We would like to thank Josh for the time, energy, and commitment he has poured into Plymouth High School athletics," the statement read. "His dedication to PHS athletics is greatly appreciated."
Troyer's departure comes just days after he was publicly noted in connection with the school's search for a new head baseball coach following the resignation of Coach Ryan Wolfe earlier this month.
Plymouth High School says the search for Troyer's replacement will begin immediately. "We look forward to finding the right person to continue leading and supporting our outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and athletic department," officials said.
The school wished Troyer well in his next professional opportunity.
